Life Saving News

The club extends a huge THANK YOU to all those able to attend the Jetty Swim and provide water safety to a field of 2,600 swimmers.

With volunteer club members on the jetty, on boards, in IRBs and for the first time with the Jetski in water for an event, Smiths Beach was very well represented and made an important contribution to a successful community event. Special thanks to Phil Garcia as event water safety coordinator.

Well done also to the many members of the club that completed the swim - awesome effort!

Sunday the 18th February marks the last Sunday of our patrol service agreement with the City of Busselton. Thanks to all our awarded members that have volunteered their time to keep Smiths Beach safe for locals and visitors to the region.

We are planning an end of season debrief so please mark your diaries - Sunday 11th March - for a lunch time BBQ at the shed.
